FAQ

Personally, I characterize my family members as a symbol of respect because they are the ones that belong to the same bloodline as I am. My mom is the person I feel the most comfortable being with because she is willing to sacrifice her time to help solve my problems at certain occasions. Being from Thailand, it is crucial that we should revere our parents as well as our ancestors throughout the generations. From my perspective, having a good family background would greatly bestow me to become a successful individual in the future. On the contrary, I have a harsh controlling father who tends to pressure me beyond limits and sometimes that would hinder me to achieve happiness. However, my focusing my energies on positive thoughts, I can defeat my nemesis and become a stronger person who can cope with extreme circumstances.

In the future, my family life would be different because eventually I would have my own children and find a lovely wife. Frequently, I used to imagine how it would be like being a parent. In all aspects, I promised myself to never treat my child in a barbaric, abusive or sadistic way because I would not want him/her to grow up and become against me in the future. Spending time with my kids and wisely teaching them the right concepts would be better than punishing them severely through their small mistakes. Well then, I guess that my own fate would be based on my actions instead. To digress the topic, let's switch modes and find out a few important traditions regarding my family.

Frankly, we do not have that many traditions in our family but I would like to tell that my mom and I do like traveling. We are Buddhists and occasionally, we pay homage inside the temples. Festivals that we celebrate back in Thailand include the traditional Loy Krathong and Songkran, read more as you navigate further. The Chinese New Year is also important for us because several of my kindred have Chinese ancestors. When I was a child, adults generously offered me a fair amount of money for my own spendings during the Chinese New Year! Honestly, I have to confess that as a child, my cousins were better at me in academics because when I was around 12 years old, I valued play time more than study time!
