Volunteers are provided with all basic necessities. For those working in the Hostel, bedrooms (including beds, mosquito nets, fans, and a refrigerator) are provided as well as a separate bathroom with toilets, showers, and running water. The Manager's assistant provides meals as well as assistance for any projects the volunteer might decide to undertake. The hostel also has a water filter for pure drinking water. For projects in other places, volunteers are all provided with housing, food, clean drinking water, and all types of assistance (including interpreters with knowledge of Tamil and English). KOGS connects the volunteers with leaders of current projects which the volunteers would like to assist, or can provide contact to local experts to help in the completion of projects which the volunteer would like initiate.
