Trent Lane

Trent is Jane's hunky older brother. He's the frontman for his band Mystik Spiral. He's five years older than her and yet he seems to have such immature goals in life. He has no real job. His typical day consists of sleeping, jamming and writing songs. His sleeping habits leave a lot to be desired. He falls asleep even when driving. And what of his love life? His girlfriend is Monique, a fellow musician. But we can't exactly call their relationship serious since they don't see each other that much and when they do, they just argue.

But as a brother and a friend, Trent is really not that bad. He and Jane are close to each other and he also shares his opinions with Daria in hopes of helping out in that older brother kind of way. Perhaps if he was more responsible, Daria would still have a crush on him.
