Tom Sloane

Tom is a guy that Daria and Jane met at a Mystik Spiral gig. He's rich, handsome but really not snotty at all. In fact, he is a lot like Daria and Jane, with his wit, cynicism, sarcasm, and intelligence. He doesn't really like showing that he's rich and perhaps that is the reason (in some small way) why he gets along with people like Daria and Jane.

He and Jane dated first for a few months. But their relationship eventually ended because of Tom's attraction to Daria. As if putting up with moody Jane wasn't enough, Tom's relationship with Daria proved to be even more challenging. Daria didn't date anyone before Tom and wasn't used to having a boyfriend. Tom had to know all the right moves as not to offend Daria. But he was very patient with her. What ended their relationship was simply the fact that they were going to different schools.

As of now, Tom has graduated from Fielding Preparatory Academy. He has been accepted at Bromwell University.
