Tori Amos

I learned about The Faerie Goddess, in 1996 when She debuted her album "Boys for Pele". I saw the video for "Caugth a Lite Sneeze" (are u starting to get the idea that I use to live on tv?) first of all the way the video was done is very inventive. Then I heard Her voice...so beautiful yet the words were so slicing. I couldn't help but fall in love...
I believe Tori is such a role model to us women, she has such grace and beauty that its astounding. After listening to at least one of Her songs I will garrantee you that u will be hooked, hey! I was...Each album She puts out, each single song She writes has so much in it. It simply speaks to you!! They are songs that anyone can relate to. It's so beautiful and magickal. It transports you in so many dimensions.

All Her albums are absoultely Faerie-inspired work of art. It's so hard to pick a favorite album. But I think I will go with Under The Pink, they are songs there that are very special to me.
I must say the same with Her songs, but these are the ones who have touched me on a different level: Caught a Lite Sneeze, Cloud on my Tounge, Winter, Precious Things, God, Liquid Diamonds, The Waitress and Sugar. |

Ani Difranco
Ok, so Ani is someone that I have a year of hearing her music, and let me tell you that I regret not hearing her stuff before. I learned about Ani through an article in Spin, so I was curious because they talked so well about her.
When I came to college my freshmen year, I met this odd lil witch called Mollie and she had Ani posters on her walls. So I asked her about Ani and she gladly played some songs for me. It was very good. Then later on as the school year progressed I met 2 other girls who were into her as well. I thank all three of them for introduce me to Ani...so yeah I ditched them to see a Deftones concert instead of an Ani one (hey! I have priorities).
I think what I like most about Ani is that she speaks her mind without caring what ppl think. which i believe is a very good quality and admirable.
Ani has so many albums out that it would take me an eternity to mention them, so instead I will just mention a couple of songs that I love from her: Adam & Eve, Napoleon, Hide & Seek, Gravel, Overlap, Out of Range, You Had Time, Hell Yeah, Untouchable Face, Shy & Hello Birmingham.
