These are just swatches of the "unnatural" colors that I have used with a brief review. Consult Dye Again, for more "natural" shades and bleaches, along with a happy go-lucky collage of pix!

ok this was kinda of my first color. I used this very liquid food-coloring quality shit (although the vendor swore that it wasn't food-coloring) it was suppose to be blue but it came out green and then i bought purple to mix it and it was more blue-ish.

Deep Tulip: It's the first color that i used from Directions, and I loved it. Its a really nice burgundy, it's not too gothy looking or too crayon red it's a really good shade. i just had two streaks in the middle of my hair, it lasted me for about 2 weeks then turned orange.

Violet: This is the second color i used, it came out very differently form the picture, it was like this bluish-purple it was really cool but it wouldn't stay on! this was the beginning of me getting pissed off at this brand
Spring Green: i wanted to wear a wild green color and i thought this one would be really cool...it did look cool, for about a day! This is where i disowned Directions, the colors are amazing but they just didn't want to stay in my hair anymore.
Ultra-Violet: Ok i was curious why everyone always raved about manic panic, so i decided to buy some and tried it out. This color was beautiful it was very similar to Directions' Violet but more intense, but the thing washed out the very next day leaving me with stained old-lady purplish hair. So yeah I'm against Manic Panic, they have amazing colors, but they just don't last on my hair, which i can't understand...
Ok so I stumbled across Special Effects, I think someone recommended it to me I dunno...but anyway i swear by this stuff, it lasts about a month and even when it fades out it looks good! the bad thing is that it very HARD to find. Hot Topic carries it but they don't carry all the colors. I've used all the hair colors together or one week one and then the other, so I'm putting them in the order that I bought them.

Blue Velvet: a deep blue, because of my hair color this just looks dark and under the sun bright blue. I've nicknamed it my "serious" hair dye. After a month it fades into purple then to white.
Pimpin' Purple: Yes i too giggle when i pronounce the name. anyway this is a good shade of purple but i'm not very fond of it, I'm thinking that i'm going to have to mix that color with something else to get a vibrant purple (like those in manic panic ::sigh::) but it does the job quite nicely, this one fades into a purple-pinkish color then goes orange.
Sonic Green: i have recently nicknamed it my "mood-swinging" hair dye, it changes colors like every day, and i get different results every time i apply it. The first time I used it, it came out a more bluish-green that faded into blue then white. Right now it came out a BRIGHT turquoise (mostly to the fact that i mixed it with the remains of Spring Green) more on the greener side, and it looks like it's fading that way too...I LOVE this color
Cherry Bomb: LOVE IT LOVE IT. Its a bright as hell red, much like a maraschino cherry. You could literally spot me a mile away, hell you can see me in the dark, it has been my most succesful color among my family (they hated all the others)bad side is that in a week it fades into hot pink, and i don't dig the hot pink too much, but hey the first week is great so i'm guessing i have to mix a bit of some bright red dye to make the red last longer.

Electric Blue: Ok so I have finally decide to dye it this color after about 4 months owning the dye (i get distracted with all the other pretty colors) i really like it. It looks pretty dark like Blue Velvet the first days or so but as you wash the colors just gets more and more vibrant, the downside is that when it fades it looks purple-y, which is still a good thing but i just want a true neon blue :(
