God be in my heard,
And in my understanding;
God be in my eyes,
And in my looking;
God be in my mouth,
And in my speaking;
God be in my heart,
And in my thinking;
God be at my end,
And at my departing.

May God Bless You
May God bless you with discomfort at easy answers,
half truths, superficial relationships,
so that you will live deep within your heart.

May God bless you with anger at injustice,
oppression and exploitation of people so that
you will work for justice, equality and peace.

May God bless you with tears to shed for those
who suffer from pain, rejection, starvation and war,
so that you will reach out your hand to comfort them
and change their pain into joy.

And may God bless you with the foolishness
to think that you can make a difference in the world,
so that you will do the things which others tell
you cannot be done.

Dear Lord,
Be good to me...
The sea is so wide
and my boat is so small.
-Irish Fisherman's Prayer
I invoke the Great Mother, Father and Holy Spirit,
sacred trinity of innumerable names.
I invoke you, Lady of Medicine,
healer of all infirmities.
I invoke you, Queen of the Universes,
Heavens, Seas and Lands.
I invoke you, Sovereign of Spirituality,
so that your light may descend upon
us and illuminate our path.
Amen
- Our Lady of Montenero-Italy
"Heavenly Father, Divine Mother, Friend, Beloved God. Saints and sages of all religions. We humbly bow to you all. May thy love shine forever on the sanctuary of our devotion. And may we be able to awaken thy love in all hearts, everywhere.
Om Shanti - Peace - Amen."
- Paramahansa Yogananda
Keep us, O God, from pettiness; let us be large in thought, in word, in deed. Let us be done with faultfinding and leave off self-seeking. May we put away all pretenses and meet each other, face to face, without self-pity and without prejudice.
May we never be hasty in judgment and always generous.
Let us take time for all things; make us to grow calm, serene, gentle. Teach us to put in action our better impulses, straightforward and unafraid.
Grant that we may realize it is the little things of life that create difficulties; that in the big things of life we are as one. Oh, Lord, let us not forget to be kind.
Amen.
-Mary Stewart
Testament
There is one Great Spirit
which Creates and silently pervades its own Creation
of which I am a part

I address my prayer
to this Spirit
most Wise
most Compassionate
most Powerful.

I surrender my small self
to the Great Spirit
most Wise
most Compassionate
most Powerful.

I seek my Greater Self
in the All-encompassing Spirit
most Wise
most Compassionate
most Powerful.

That I may be filled with
Wisdom
Compassion
Power

Like unto the Spirit
Who creates the Universe
And fills us all with Life.
-Theolyn Cortens
Beloved God
Beloved God, Show me the truth about this.
I now surrender all fears, doubts, and judgments,
and invite the light of perfect consciousness
to illuminate my path.
Pure love is present here and now,
as God lives in every person I meet.
I send love and appreciation to all my associates,
knowing with perfect confidence that he or she
is guided by the same Great Spirit that guides me.
I am not separate from my brothers and sisters,
but one with them.
I trust that my highest good is unfolding before me,
and I accept the very best that love and life have to offer.
I am worthy of living in the kingdom of Heaven,
even as I walk the earth. I claim it now.
Thank you, God, for loving me infinitely,
and opening all doors for the highest good of all concerned.
I receive Your love, and magnify it.
And so it is.

-Alan Cohen
Divine Blessing
Almighty Lord, if we offer you a devoted mind and heart,
you will offer to us every blessing on earth and in heaven.
You grant our deepest wishes.
You give food to the body and peace to the soul.
You look upon us with the love of a mother for her children.
You created this beautiful earth all around us.
And in every plant and animal, every tree and bird, your spirit dwells.
You have revealed yourself to me, infusing my soul
with the know- ledge that you are the source of all blessing.
And so I sing your praises day and night.
I who am feeble,
glorify you who are powerful.
I who am nothing, devote myself
to you who are everything.
-Atharva Veda (c. 1500 BC)
"I pray to the birds. I pray to the birds because I believe they will carry the messages of my heart upwards

I pray to them because I believe in their existence, the way their songs begin and end each day
-the invocations and benedictions of earth

I  pray to the birds because they remind me of what I love rather than what I fear
And at the end of my prayers they teach me how to listen."
