Learn to accept each other and appreciate the interconnectedness of all life. Connecting is the spirit of friendship, brother and sisterhood, recognizing ourselves, honoring the humanity in every person we know and meet. Being, and having neighbors that are considerate, tolerant, and compassionate. It is extending that neighborliness out to the community, the world. It is live and let live, in our personal and social lives. Acceptance of those who look or speak differently. Making a conscious choice to focus on our commonalities, rather than point out differences. Living and leading by example, striving to be respectful and tolerant. It is the sustained belief that we will one day live in a world without borders. That one day we will all respect and value the next person, their cultural and religious rights as much as we want our own to be respected and valued. It is the community of open arms, of coming home, wherever you are.
