| History In the early 24th century the Ambassador was designed to help replace the aging Constitution and Miranda classes. With both the Klingon and Romulan empires advancing their ships the Federation created the Ambassador to combat these possible threats. The Ambassador class served in many important missions including protecting the Klingon outpost at Narendra III. But by the 2370's the majority of the Ambassador fleet was decomisioned and replaced by Nebula and Galaxy class vessels. |
