WHAT A TRIP!
How can I describe this trip in words?  WOW!  This was such an eye-opening trip and one that I wil never forget.  With there being only ten of us, and no one with overseas mission experience, it was quite a test.
We had our times of learning how to lead a mission trip on the job, but all in all, we came away totally changed.  Adam Hartz, a freshman in 99-00, was baptized on our last day in Guatemala!

We did the two VBS's the first week, one in the morning and one in the afternoon.  In week two, we built a playground for the school where we worked at.  It was laid, built and finished in 2 1/2 days!!

We worked with Lori and Queno Nij, a wife-husband missionary team who have started a hospital and school on the same land.  They are a part of the NICM (New Iberian Christian Mission), based out of Las Cruces, New Mexico.
