Christian Campus House is a recognized student organization at CMSU, that I am involved in.  It is the collegiate ministry of Northside Christian Church in Warrensburg.
     Believing in the mission to
reach, teach and send, CCH has seen dramatic growth in the four short years that I have been a student.
The leadership consists of a full-time campus minister.  Tim Hawkins (first pic on left) is our campus minister.  He and his wife Stephanie have three children.
Currently, CCH has been in contact with over 250 CMSU students in the fall semester.  Our other staff includes Amy Bacon, our women's minister; Matt Quick, intern and Ashley Lawrence, intern.  We break CCH into small ministries to delegate responsibility and promote student leadership.
CCH has a very special place in my heart.  if you peek at my personal testimony page, you'll find that I was not a Christian when I entered CMSU in 1998.  And for the first two months of my freshman year, I was not involved in CCH, but eventually (after many calls and promptings!) I went to CCH and started coming to Bible studies.  I became a Christian on November 15, 1998 through my initial experiences with this ministry and I have tried to make a similar impact on others.
I have done so much with CCH.  I have taken four mission trips with CCH.  Here are some seperate pages about each of them.

Chicago (Spring Break) 1999
Pompano Beach, Florida (SB) 2000
Juarez, Mexico (SB) 2001
San Raymundo, Guatemala (Summer) 2001

CCH does so much more than missions, though.  We have a mid-week worship and Bible study time we call DIG, encouraging and challenging students to grow deeper in their relationship with God.
With any college group, a lot of us hang out together.  We literally are, a circle of friends, and it creates a very family-like atmosphere. Through formals, retreats, Welcome Week activities, homecoming, and many other activities, CCH  brings people together.
With CCH's rapid growth, the need for a new building is paramount, so in the past few months construction has begun on a new Campus House at the same intersection as our current building.  We had a groundbreaking to coincide with the start of classes this fall.
Take a look at the mission trip pages and also check out CCH's home on the web for more information.
