Silence surrounds you as you walk down the dirt path from the riverbank, the air heavy with the aroma of moisture and nature. Ahead, you see a small wooden sign, rickety, and arrow carved deep into the weathered surface. Looking in the direction it points, you smile in satisfaction, the dark glen opening to a small clearing, the shadows of the massive trees blackening the hidden building. Your journey was not in vain; you have succeeded in finding the Kala Jagah. The slumping building may look worn and abused, but it is a haven for the miscreants and travelers of the Gorean society. Deep in the heart of the Schendi jungles, the Kala Jagah is the last ford between the Nyoka and Kamba Rivers. Ahead, the flood lands give no comfort to a journey. Here, you can find the last comforts before the journey becomes harsh and unforgiving. A wild, hidden fortress, the Kala Jagah is the wealth of harsh Gorean land. The silence in the glen only broken by the shrieks and shrills of gants and the low rumbling of sleen and larls as they stalk past. Fierce and untamed, the Kala Jagah offers the travelers that visit the same, a place to relax in the comfort of beautiful slaves and warm furs, drinking and indulging throughout the night and into the early morning hours. Be wary to wander far from the paths, the sleens do not take kindly to the visitors. Take heart, if you stay close, the nature of this place will protect you. Fearless men reside within, their women abject and humble at their feet. You, who are free, know who you are. Accept the birthright given you and stand strong in the ways of this world. Be fierce in all you do, sure in your steps of life.

Beasts. Here you will be owned, there is no halfway, you either are slaves, or you are gone. Do not bother us with petty struggles, here, you will find strong men, and willing teachers if you are able to lay down yourself. Here slaves belong, you can acknowledge your belly and revel in it. You will not be seen as weak, but as strong for admitting the desire and finding yourself.

Slave Rules
The building towers before you, raised from the ground on stilts to avoid the flooding of the rainy season. The steps leading upward creak as you place your foot down, and you almost hear the word "Beware" in the groaning sound. Smiling again, you step up to the entry............ The sign posted above the entryway, as weathered and rugged as the building itself, reads "Beware strangers." With a laugh, you ponder your heritage, knowing the word stranger and enemy are one in the same.
