This section is here because we at the Kala Jagah know that not every slave wandering yahoo Gor has been trained. This place is a haven for Goreans only. You will behave as such, or you will not return. The slaves of the Kala Jagah will be willing to help you. You may ask questions of the slaves who call the Kala Jagah home anytime. If you need help they cannot give, they may know of someone who can help, all you have to do is ask. There are four sections of help we will offer, attitude tips, positions with references to where they are found in the books, serving tips, and dance tips. That is the order you should learn them. Without the proper attitude you will never really be a slave. If you are unable to perform basic positions, you should not expect to be called upon to serve. If you are not a capable server, you should not be worrying about dancing. Each section compounds upon the other. Girls, understand that this is a process, you will not become perfect in a day, a week, months or even years. All you can hope is that with each passing day, you become stronger and brighter in the steel around your soul. That is the one that will carry you through, no matter what you wear about your neck.

1. This is not a place for fun. This is a place to be what you feel you are. If you feel you are wrong to be here you more than likely are. Do not sit here beacuse it's trendy to be a Gorean slave. We can spot you in a heartbeat and will deal with you accordingly.

2. Do not presume to know what the Free think or feel. Many do as they please and you are expected to follow suit. They ask you to know a question you better know the awnser.

3. Be open to criticism. If you are new, there will be Free and slaves who will have words you will really be able to use. Do not let pride or vanity keep you from listening and heeding wise advice.

4. Be ready to learn. There will be many new things thrown at you. You will be tested, and you may fail them. Try, try again. Do not give up because of one failure, or two or three. You only fail if you stop trying.

5. Don't hold back. Your emotions and thoughts are there for a reason. The Free understand you are human, as long as your words and thoughts are formed in a respectful manner, they usually will want to hear them. Be aware they may not wish to hear them at all.

1. The Free of Gor often require service. The slave should do them as pleasingly as possible. A slave in service doesn't have to be serving a drink or food; she merely has to be considered in service to the Master. This service may be conversation, massaging or to be used as a rest for the Master, be it for his back or for his head or even to table for his feet. No serve is less than another, everyone and everything is different, do not show jealousy over tasks given to another. Be grateful.

2. One of the best ways to show the desire to please is to remain in the room when not presently needed. Too many slaves rush in and out of rooms, seeking for someone, anyone to serve. While other slaves are serving, and you have been denied, wait patiently; show commitment to the Free around you. While another slave dances, wait, and show appreciation for the effort she has made to be pleasing. Be giving and friendly to the other slaves. Catty behavior is not pleasing.

3. Serves are the one of the most important ways for the Free to see the submission of the slave. It is in these words that you can show what kind of slave you are. Do not be afraid to show need or desire in them. These feelings are natural and right for slaves to have while serving.

4. Make the serves visual as well as emotional. Simply stepping to the kitchen and procuring a vessel, polishing it, checking it and filling it, is hardly an appealing serve. What color is your hair, your eyes? How do the lines of your body flow when you are walking? Show the Free these things so they can derive a mental picture from your words. Standing in one moment and at the kitchen in the next hardly gives a picture of how you got there.

5. Each serve will not be identical. There will be some which will draw from you more heat, or more sensuality, even at times humor or tears. Your own Masters perhaps, that will might receive a hotter or more intense serve than a Master whose collar you do not wear. The key is to remember; each serve must be pleasing in it's own right.

6. If you aren't in the mood to serve well, then leave the room, because a slave that isn't prepared to do her best is not a pleasing slave.

1. The idea behind dancing is to show your emotions and passion. The key to doing so, is to let yourself be open, and beautiful, digging deep to offer everything you are.

2. When you are asked to dance, let the feelings you have at that moment be the bridge to choose what type of dance you do. If you are feeling lonely, or needy, perhaps choose a sa-eela, or need dance. If you are feeling mysterious and sensual, choose the dance of 7 veils or a seduction dance. While there is a need for creative license, you should read the dances as they are seen in the books, and attempt to keep the standards set there. Know the dances and what they call for.

3. Be creative within that context. Do new dances each time, especially if you desire to dance. If you do the same dance over and over, no one will ask you to serve them in that manner, because it is dull.

4. Do not dance through macros. If you want to give everything, do not be afraid to make mistakes because you have not read it through a thousand times. Often, the little mistake show your feelings the best, and you should want those you serve to see everything you are and can be.

5. If you are going to dance through macros, check your spelling. Also, make sure that the flow works, if your dance is choppy, it will be hard to read.

6. Use a thesaurus. The best way to make your audience lose interest is to be redundant.

7. When in doubt, ask a friend. Be open to constructive criticism and help, especially when you are just learning.
