Midterm
#1 Review Sheet |
Questions |
|
December 07, 2003
The 9
lecture outline quizzes have been posted. You may notice the
lack of questions in the Carpenter section of lectures and that is as
a result of the lack of details in them. Rather, they contain
bigger ideas that cannot be formulated into good questions without
tying in past things we have learned about. Don't let this
discourage you from reading those sections and fully studying and
understanding them.

The
results for Midterm #2 are in and I hope that you are pleased with them. Keep up the
good work everyone. Only one final to go.

November 14, 2003
Starting today, I will
be posting daily questions directly from the day's lecture notes.
The answers are included in the DOWNLOAD, so please make sure you
don't scroll all the way to the bottom where the answers are located.
This will prevent the long waiting period that persists toward the
testing period. Instead of doing a cumulative review sheet at
the end, it may just end up being material covered in the reading but
not the outlines.

I wish everyone luck on
the Bio 94 midterm on Monday (11/10/03). Just as a reminder that
this site is only a supplement, and you should not fully depend on
this as your only study guide in preparation for the midterm. I
urge you to look at the figures as specified in the outlines as well
as the optional readings. As a service to you, remember it is
your responsibility to check if the material provided is accurate.
Everything asked on the
Midterm #2 Review Sheet is taken directly from the
outlines with 10% coming from actual notes discussed. I suggest
opening both questions/answers in new windows for easier use. If you
have any questions, contact me with the link above. |
