Building : The College has its own building __ a four-storied building on southern side of the N.C.E. campus. After its Engineering College was converted to the Jadavpur University, the NCE, Bengal handed over all its land and assets to the Jadavpur University, keeping for itself two bighas of bare land on which the NCE, Bengal constructed the building for its B.Ed. college (JVCE).
Computer Rooms : While teachers and members of the non-teaching staff work in a computer room on the second floor of the college building, students use the computer room containing more than 50 computers on the third floor of the NCE building sharing it jointly with the students of the other units of the NCE, Bengal.
Library : A large room on the third floor of the college building contains about 10,000 books with more than 1000 titles, including various types of Encyclopaedia and Dictionaries. Reading facilities are available for about 50 students at a time.
Class Rooms : The college has eight big class rooms on the three floors of the college building and also uses, if and when necessary, three big and three small rooms of the IBM building.
Laboratory : For students of practical based method subjects, the college has its own laboratories on the ground and third floor of the college.
Seminar Room : The students of JVCE can use a well-furnished air-conditioned Seminar Room with accommodation for 40 students. The Seminar Room is named after the late Arun Kumar Gupta, former Secretary of the National Council of Education, Bengal.
Auditorium : Our students organise debates, lectures and cultural programmes more or less regularly and hold the same in a decently furnished air-conditioned auditorium very close to the college building.
Play Ground : The college has a play ground on its campus. Our students also use the play grounds of the Jadavpur University when necessary.
Canteen : Since a large number of our students happen to be teachers of secondary schools and come to attend classes after school hours, the college offers canteen facilities to the students of JVCE. The canteen remains open for the students from 4.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. on all working days.
