Co-Curricular and Extra Curricular Activities :

Students' Union : President - Head of the Institution is the ex-officio President of the students' union. Vice-president, General Secretary, Assistant General Secretary and Members of the students' union are elected by the students of the college.

Field Survey : Students of Geography and Bio-Science (as method subjects) have to undertake field survey at both distant and remote places under the supervision of teachers of relevant subjects.

Locality Survey : Locality survey is regularly undertaken by students of the college both for collecting data for their paper on 'Non-.formal and Adult Education' and for establishing linkage with the community at large.

Educational Tours : College organizes at least one educational tour and one picnic for every batch of students every year.

Exhibitions : The college observes an 'Education Week' centering round 11th March, the day being the anniversary of the establishment of National Council of Education, Bengal a hundred years back. The exhibition of different teaching aids organised by on the occasion attracts the attention not only of the students of different institutions but of the general public at large. During the week several competitions are also held with enthusiastic participation from the students.

Sports : Another important feature of the college is the annual sports held on the play ground of the Jadavpur University generally in the month of January every year.

Cultural Activities : Since the college has its own auditorium (Indumati Sabhagriha), students of the college have the unique advantage of organizing different cultural programmes on drama, dance drama, dance, music, recitation and so on.
