And now for the game. I'm ready to go. Chisaibu does have a shotgun that he took out of the genie wagon in that weird dimension. After much trial and error ( and being abruptly asked to leave the last village he was in as a result) he has discovered how to operate it. It's a single barrel job and he has only twelve shells.
Much of the rest of the "loot" as you may recall was in the form of worthless green paper that those people seemed to want to hoard. There was some jewelry and silver items. Most of this you've converted to more spendable forms and have indeed been spending it as you have both an image and a lifestyle to maintain. Your wealth consists of the things on your character sheet you sent me, Six gems totaling 82gp, an additional 23gp and 12 sp over what's on your sheet and the ubiquitous "black box".
You also have a nagging feeling that there's somewhere you should be to check up on something, but you can't quite recall where or what. Oh, well. If it's important you're sure you'll remember...sooner or later.
You are currently in a city on the shores of the moonsea. This seemed to you like a good place for excitement and, considering reputation of the area, if something odd or dangerous does happen to you or because of you most people will not want to get involved.
So. Chisaibu, What do you want to do? The world and your choices are wide
open to you.
See ya around, LONGSHOT

Timotheus,
What is the moonsea? Is there anything Chisaibu would know about this place? Maybe I should send you a map of the world in which I am working, just so you could see parallels. And since the map and the world are both works in progress, it's no problem to me to play out the adventure in your world (I'll just steal the features I like and adapt them to my own).
Here are some of the things that he would want to do:
He has this idea about picking up an apprentice, but it's probably a little early for something like that. He doesn't really want to teach anything. It's just that he has noticed that nobody trusts him. He looks and acts untrustworthy. So he wants an apprentice with a face that people will trust-- preferably a young human girl, maybe ten years old or so.
He wants to find out about this black box. He is positively burning up with curiosity. So he would want to ask around and see if anyone knows of magic shops or curio shops or the like. He would also look for anyone who is a scholar, particularly in things oriental and ancient. Maybe a monastery or something.
He also is beginning to feel guilty about his neglect of his spiritual side, and wants to find a temple to worship in. But he is unlikely in this town to find a shrine to Tingkinchgoonk, the blind, mad god of his people. So he is thinking about making a shrine or a holy place of his own. But he is not sure how to do that. But it must be something about luck, or madness, or blindness, or money, or reincarnation. He also is going to poke around and see if there are any temples to gods with which he is reasonably familiar. Just in case.
In keeping with this new devotional feeling, he wants to stay in the humblest place possible. Somewhere with no furniture, if possible. He wants to sleep on the floor. He might even try his hand at begging and pretend to be a wandering priest or mad disciple. Also, he will not touch alcohol for the rest of his life. Or meat. Or spicy food. Or women (not that he usually gets the opportunity). He is trying to live on green tea, and fasts often. He has covered his bald head in ashes, and over his other clothing he wears a filthy brown robe he stole off an old priest.
Since he has got himself so religious, he has been paying particularly close attention to his dreams lately, as this is the way his god usually speaks to its devotees.
Chisaibu also wants to steal, as always, and will keep his eyes open for opportunities.
Let me know what's possible...
JOHN
