Mount McKinley at
20,320ft. is the largest
mountain in North
America. Due to its
location, its also one
of the coldest mountains
in the world. Mount
Mckinley (also known as
Denali) is one of the most
challenging mountains
I have ever been on. Its
also one of the most
beautiful. These are
some of the pictures
from my climb.

On Denali you spend the first days
on the mountain pulling sleds. You do
this because you cant get the 140lbs
gear in your pack.
Jim comes back in after shoveling
snow from around the tent. This is
necessary during storms to keep
the tent from collapsing. This is
something we did a lot of.
If you notice the walls
around the tents, they're
necessary for protection
against the weather. The
wind can and will shred
your tent.
The 14,200ft. camp is the
staging area for the high camp
at 17,000ft. Climbers will stay
here to acclimate and to prepare
for carrying loads higher up.
