Washington and British
Columbia. Dramatic in
appearance, they have
been called the American
Alps. They offer a beautiful
getaway for those willing
to hike in their valleys
or climb to there summits.
They also have some of
the more remote regions
in the lower forty eight.
If you're willing to do the
ten miles of bushwhacking,
the Picket Range might be
your cup of tea. But if
something more mellow
is you want, try a boat
ride on Lake Chelan.
