| My T10 was popping out of 2nd gear so I pulled the tranny and had it rebuilt. I also bought a new bellhousing because the old one had some alignment issues that had to be corrected. | |||||||||||||||||||

| I am replacing the pilot bushing with a pilot bearing. Hopefully this will reduce some resistance. | |||||||||||||||||||

| The old bushing was showing some wear. To remove it, I shot some grease into the hole, and drove in a 5/8 dowel, which popped the bushing right out. | |||||||||||||||||||

| After I finished bolting in the tranny, I went for a test drive. I didn't get far. It looks like I have more problems to deal with. The ring looks bad, but the pinion looks worse. There are lots of little chunks in the drain pan. Ok, maybe my test drives are a little rough, but you have to find the week points, right? | |||||||||||||||||||

| I bought this 12 bolt rear from Moser with a 4:11 gear, 35 spline axles, Eaton posi, etc. It is a solid rear but they don't come painted like in the magazine, so be ready to do that. I was also a little dissapointed in the support. They assume you know what u-joint to cross over to, and to open up the holes in your brake back plates, etc. I like the way it drives though. | |||||||||||||||||||
