TUESDAY
Thanks to a one day teacher strike, Carmie had the day off, and we went to some of London's great museums. Unfortunately, there aren't too many pictures from today because some of London's great museums aren't too keen on photography (how 'bout that british!) First we went to the National Gallery and saw some Picasso, Rembrandt, and all of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. We saw the whole museum in under an hour and a half. A NEW RECORD!!! Then we went to lunch at a famous muffin shop. We moved on to the British Library, which has got to be one of the coolest museums ever. With original manuscripts from many of the great writers, original symphonies with hand written notes by beethoven, early texts from all the major religions, letters from Darwin, and more. It really was amazing. That night, I began my quest to take advantage of London's theater and their offers of student tickets, so I went an hour before showtime to Les Miserables and ended up with a seventh row seat! I had never seen it, and it was unbelievable.

Houdini wanna-be, but he made it out
Saw Les Mis on my own, but I could hear the people sing!
