| Saturday Karen and I took a train back to London. We were able to get tickets to the matinee of Mamma Mia. I was reluctant to go to another "band review" musical, but this one ended up being really cute. We had a great time. After the show we went to Covent Gardens again and walked around there. Still full from our all you can eat pizza lunch, all three of us went to the Ain Nothin' but the Blues Bar in Soho. It was so much fun. We saw Little Johnnie and the Business, met some great Brits, and even lucked out to get a table. I couldn't have asked for a better last full day in England. No pictures from Sunday, but I went to the best bagel shop in London, checked out one of the famous markets, and caught one more show before I left. I went to the Reduced Shakespeare Company's Complete works of Shakespeare Abridged. It was very funny and a great way to end the trip! I got in Monday morning at 5 in the morning and made it to class that day! |
