A Program Manager's position was created in order to focus on managing Seagate's first browser-based, customer-facing document management system, based on his work with engineering. Worked with a diverse team of people to select, plan and install the system. After installation, developed security policies, operational processes and managed global training for employees and customers; even designed the graphics and the look and feel of the user interface.

Competencies:
Contract negotiation, vendor management, program development and deployment, infrastructure design, training and support.

People Managed:
15 indirect team members including vendors, analysts, programmers, network and database administrators

Budget Managed:
$250,000 including vendor, contract and development costs

Reason For Leaving:
Accepted position as Manager of Global Application Support after program deployment and completion of Master's Degree in 2001.
