Big shake-ups are coming for Sega, but it's good to know that they know the Dreamcast and its gamers need a little love. One would expect the Gamecube to have been decked out for some Valentine's Day Phantasy Star Online action, but you might be surprised to learn (it sure surprised me) that the Dreamcast versions also get the big hearts to celebrate the holiday. Alchemist (who also developed the DC game Kimiga Nozomu Eien) started the year with its first of two Dreamcast releases for 2003: Wind: A Breath of Heart. Released two weeks ago in Japan, it premiered on the Top 20 sales chart at #18, showing yet again that the Dreamcast is still holding its gamers' interest. Selling nearly 8,000 copies in its first week, Wind is only the beginning of what DC gamers can expect this year. With Izumo RPG, Lithler B, and King of Fighters 2002 among the 25 or so titles still slated for release, the Dreamcast is still going strong.
