Early JF goes on a South African tour in DIAL "M" FOR MURDER.
Summer JF appears in DIAL "M" FOR MURDER in New England.
Late JF appears as a guest on THE MERV GRIFFIN SHOW.
1973
Late March JF attends Noel Coward's funeral.
June JF set to star in the play THE ESCAPE OF NICHOLAS AND ALEXANDRA. The production was later canceled.
August 8 THE ROMANTIC AGE OF ELIZABETH BARRETT BROWNING opens at the John Drew Theater in East Hampton, New York.

JF goes on a two-month United States tour in the play DIAL "M" FOR MURDER.

May 17-23 JF appears in Noel Coward's play BLITHE SPIRIT at the Playhouse Dinner Theater in Columbus, Ohio.
Late May JF presents her newest lecture, "America - Three Centuries Through the Words of its Woman Poets," in Austin, Texas.

April 30 JF attends a salute to director George Cukor at Lincoln Center in New York.
October 1 Television movie THE USERS released.
October 3 JF's autobiography, No Bed of Roses, hits the stands; reviewed by Variety.
1979
March JF attends the 50th anniversary of the Academy Awards.
Summer JF appears in the play A LION IN WINTER at the English Theatre in Vienna. She received glowing reviews.
September 18 Debbie Dozier marries Santa Fe attorney Earl Potter.
1980
January 10 ABC announces that JF will appear on the daytime serial RYAN'S HOPE in the role of Page Williams.
January 28 JF begins a two-week guest appearance on RYAN'S HOPE.
April 2 JF attends the American Film Institute tribute to director King Wallis Vidor at Lincoln Center.
1981
March 25 JF makes a guest appearance on the short-lived television show ALOHA PARADISE.
November 7 JF makes a guest appearance on the long-running televesion show, THE LOVE BOAT.
1983
February 14 NBC announces that JF has signed to star in a recurring role on the television dramatic series BARE ESSENCE.
March 1 JF appears on BARE ESSENCE.
