December 25 Olivia is a guest at JF's Central Park South apartment for Christmas.
1962
January 19 TENDER IS THE NIGHT released.
October 19 JF attends White House Dinner with the Kennedys.
October 20 JF dines aboard the presidential yacht Sequoia.
1963
September JF moves into her East Seventy-second Street apartment.
September 22 JF attends a celebrity art show at a New York City gallery to benefit Manhattan's Whitney Museum of American Art. She painted a spooky-looking house for the event.
September-October JF is stricken with a mysterious illness.
1964
January 27 JF marries Alfred Wright Jr., a senior editor of Sports Illustrated, in the basement of the Elkton, Maryland courthouse.
Summer A SEVERED HEAD opens in New Haven, Connecticut, then moves to Philadelphia.
August 16 JF appears in THE MARRIAGE-GO-ROUND at the Cecilwood Theater in Fishkill, New York.
Fall JF set to film a production written by Norah Lofts in London. The film was postponed and never rescheduled.
1965
June 29 Agatha Christie's play THE UNEXPECTED GUEST opens at the Town and Country Playhouse in Rochester, New York.
July 5 THE UNEXPECTED GUEST opens at the Tappan Zee Playhouse in Nyack, New York.
1966
January 24 DIAL "M" FOR MURDER opens at the Municipal Theatre in Atlanta, Georgia.
Winter JF and Wright separate.
April 3 DIAL "M" FOR MURDER closes at the Paramus, New Jersey Theatre.
Summer JF flies to London to film THE DEVIL'S OWN.
November 22 THE DEVIL'S OWN released in England under the title, THE WITCHES.
December 31 THE DEVIL'S OWN released in the United States.
1967
June 26 Agatha Christie's play THE SPIDER'S WEB opens at the Country Playhouse in Westport, Connecticut.
August 26 THE SPIDER'S WEB closes at the Candlewood Theater in New Fairfield, Connecticut.
1968
Mr. de Havilland dies at the age of ninety-six.
Spring JF appears in the play DIAL "M" FOR MURDER at the Ivanhoe Theatre in Chicago.
June 24 Noel Coward's play PRIVATE LIVES opens at the Candlewood Theater in New Fairfield, Connecticut.
August 31 PRIVATE LIVES closes at the John Drew Theater in East Hampton, New York.
1969
JF receives a Mexican divorce from Wright.

JF embarks on a world golfing trip with new beau, Doctor Ben Kean.

JF meets Olivia in Paris to give her a large sum of money to help her out financially.
December JF accepts a film offer for the Italian film A GIRL CALLED JULES.
