Copper John: This is a small generic nymph imitation. It can be used to imititate blue winged olives, pale morning duns or any other mayfly nymph and sometimes even a small stonefly.

Copper John:

Hook: Usually a nymph hook ranging in size from 14-20
Thread: Black is probably the most common color
Body: Copper wire wrapped around the hook
Head: Peacock hearl
