Caddis Emerger: This is a great patter to fish at the beginning of a caddis hatch. It immitates a caddis nymph that has started to hatch and is rising to the surface to mature to an adult and fly away. You'll usually fish this patter closer to the surface and not on the bottom like most nymphs. Usually caddis hatch starts the end of July and continues into late fall.
