San Juan Worm: This fly immitates natural worms present in streams, rivers and lakes. It's probably one of the easiest flies to tie and yet it still brings in fish. Fish this fly any time of year but it usually is most successful during runnoff when a river rises a bit and washes these worms off the shore. However, don't be afraid to throw this one out there any time of the year.
