Executive Board Members
President - Jason Roderiques

Jason Roderiques is a Government Major at John Jay College of Criminal
Justice. He served time as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps and
previously attended Broward Community College in Florida where he was the
President of the Student Council. Jason coordinated multifaceted programs with
success and enthusiasm, generated complex financial and other business reports
for corporate executives, researched legal documents and facilitated legislative
actions against unpopular policy and optimized and streamlined previous internal
inventory methods. In addition, he is a member of American Civil Liberty Union,
NAACP, Sierra Club, National Wildlife Association, Volunteers of America,
Mohandas K. Ghandi Institute for Non Violence, Amnesty International, and many
more. Jason has also visited dozens of countries and has spent many years living
outside of the United States. He is also an EMT, a Red Cross instructor, a
Department of Health counselor, a martial arts instructor, and Conflict
Resolution Mediator.

Treasurer - Muhammad U. Faridi 
Muhammad U. Faridi is currently a senior at John Jay College of Criminal
Justice. He is a Government Major, has two Minors: English Honors, and History,
and plans on continuing his education either in graduate studies or law school.
He was born and raised in Pakistan and immigrated to the United States with his
family in 1994. He graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School in Brooklyn, NY in
2000. At John Jay College, he co-founded the Muslim Students Association and the
Society of International Law, Justice, and Human Rights. He joined UNSA in
Spring 2003 and also participated in the NMUN conference. Mohammad has been the
Dean's List recipient at John Jay College for every semester since enrollment.
He is a member of American Society of International Law; Independent Students
Coalition for the International Criminal Court; and a McNair Post-Baccalaureate
Scholar (Spring 2003).

Vice-President - Anila Duro 
Anila Duro is an Albanian-American student at John Jay College of Criminal
Justice and plans to pursue a higher education in the International Criminal
Justice field. She has a deep appreciation for Literature and would love to
teach this subject in the future. She believes that success is very important
and can be best reflected by this remarkable quote: "Find what it is that brings
you joy and you will never have to work a day in your life." This is what Ms.
Duro calls success. Anila is a member of Phi Eta Sigma, Chi Alpha Epsilon,
Society of International Law, Justice, and Human Rights and a new member of
Theatrical Players. She played an imperative role as a Prop Manager for the play
"A Sense of War" in Spring 2003. In addition to being a SEEK student and a
Dean's List recipient at John Jay College each semester, Anila has been honored
every academic year for her Excellent Scholastic Average. She is currently
employed as a Freshman Peer Mentor and regards herself as being a prospective
tutor for Individuals with Disabilities, a vital outreach program for disabled
students at the college. Her philanthropic accomplishments do not stop here.
Anila also serves as a youth coordinator at the Albanian American Women
Organization (AAWO)-"Motrat Qiriazi." This summer she will be studying abroad at
Cambridge University, London. Writing poems, exploring fascinating countries,
and helping others are the three things she enjoys doing most.

Secretary - Riaz Khan 
Riaz Khan is another Pakistani student and he has been residing in New York
for about 16 years. He is majoring in International Criminal Justice and is
minoring in English Honors. Mr. Khan was a participant of 2003 National Model
United Nations Conference. The experiences of this Conference lift up his
aspiration to work for an international organization, preferably the United
Nations. He is a prospective intern at the United Nations for the fall 2003
semester. He hopes to be involved in the political world in the near future.
Currently, he is working for a Law Firm. Furthermore, Mr. Khan has also been a
Dean's List recipient since enrollment. He is an active member of Theatrical
Players, United Nations Student Association and Society of International Law,
Justice, Human Rights. During Spring 2003 semester he did not only participate
in UNSA but also participated in the multi media play "A Sense of War," as an
actor having different roles. Mr. Khan believes that multiplicity is an enormous
thing in this world and everything can be achieved if there is unanimity.
