Part of Playwrights on the Web, Cyberluvvies offers a series of new scripts written for amateur societies. "The Dear Departed", "Gregory", "Money's Not Everything", a farcical comedy, "Death at the Deanery", an Agatha Christie spoof in one act, and "Family Deception", a drama. We have also "The Baker Street Irregulars", a Sherlock Holmes musical for mixed ages. We also offer "Frankenstein's Aunt", a musical for schools, and "Boswell on the Town", a large-cast eighteenth-century romp.
Our two latest scripts comprise an extract from a new comedy, "Barely Respectable", about a group of ladies who decide to produce a fund-raising calendar of themselves in - er - the altogether. (Not to be confused with a new film on the same theme.) For Mycroft Holmes fans, there's now the chance to visualise him on stage in "Murder At The Lyceum", a Victorian period comedy whodunit.
Of the material available now, "Death at the Deanery" and "The Dear Departed" may be saved or copied and printed for free use; we ask only for an acknowledgement in the publicity. An e-mail letting us know how it's gone in performance would be appreciated.
