The symbol of Osaka. The castle was built in 16th century by a great samurai named Hideyoshi Toyotomi. However, the main tower once was completely destroyed in a fire, but rebuilted in 1931. The latest renovation was held in 1997, to build in even elevators as convenience to senior members' visit. In the surrounding gardens, there are plenty of Japanese Apricot trees and Sakura trees which will blossom in the beginning of March and April every year.
