Aufklarungsgruppe(n) - Long Range Photographic or Aerial Reconnaissance
AXO - Adjutant Executive Officer
Chef der Oberkommando der Luftwaffe - Kommandeur, OKL
Chef der Stabsschelfarhbalhaber - Kommandeur, Jabofleigerkorps
Chef der Luftwehr - Kommandeur, Abteilungen der Personnel
Chef der Entgegensetzendkrafte - Kommandeur, Opposing Force
Cuff Title - Decoration for a completed campaign, i.e., Italy, North Afrika
CO - Commanding Officer
Expertens - Fighter Pilots
Einsatzgruppe(n) - Trained, expert fighter pilot Gruppe
Einsatzgruppenkommandeur - Kommandeur, Einsatzgruppe
Entgegensetzendkrafte - Opposing Force, training program for JG26
Erganzungsgruppe(n) - Training Gruppe, for beginning and intermediate Jagd
Erganzungsgruppenkomandeur - Kommandeur, Erganzungsgruppe
Fleigerdivision - Air Division, historically numbering 150-200 aircraft
Fleigerkorps - Air Corps, between 350-700 aircraft
Flugzeugefuhrer - Fighter pilot
Geschwader - Three Gruppe(n) and a Stab flight
Gruppe(n) - Luftwaffe group, composed of three Staffel(n) and a Stab flight
Herres - Luftwaffe short range reconnaissance
Jaeger -Warden or hunter, rubric for fighter pilots
Jagd - Abbreviation for Luftwaffe fighter pilots
Jagdgeschwader - Luftwaffe fighter wing
Jagdgruppen - Luftwaffe fighter group
Jagdstaffel(n) - Luftwaffe fighter squadron
Kampfgruppe - Battle group
Katchmarek - Wingman
Luftgau(e) - Air Districts
Luftflotte(n) - Luftwaffe Air Fleet
Luftflottenkommando - Luftflotte Command
Luftwaffe - German Air Force
OKL - Oberkommando der Luftwaffe, German Air High Command
RLM - Reichsluftfahrt Ministerium, Air Ministry
Rotte - Basic fighting unit
Rottenfüührer - Flight lead
Schwarm - Two Rotte compose a Schwarm, or four aircraft
Stab - Lead flight, four aircraft leading a Gruppe(n)
Staffel - Three Schwarm compose a Staffel(n), a standard composite squadron
Sturzkampfflugzeug or Stuka - Ground attack, or ground attack aircraft
TXO - Training Executive Officer
XO - Executive Officer
