Willkommen Experten.
This competition will feature our finest fighter pilots in a best of five dueling competition. The winner of 3 of 5 duels will progress to the next ladder in the competition.
You will recieve notification via electronic mail within 48 hours of registration confirming your registration. We strongly recommend you read the rules before the competition. They are as follows;
1. All aviators must be registered to compete.
2. All aviators must submit an aircraft of preference. Aircraft will be paired by the Verwaltungsbeamte/JG26 and/or General Staff. Notification of pair selection will be sent out to all aviators.
3. All aviators must arrange the engagement rules on a fight by fight basis. These arrangements must be mutually satisfactory to both aviators.
4. Screen Shots of your success are needed incase the losing member of the duel can not be reached. The instructions on how to do this and to resize the image will be sent via email when you register.
5. All aviators must abide by the rules of engagement set forth by the dueling aviators.
6. Any violation of the ROE (rules of engagement) will result in a forfeiture of the match.
7. The following restrictions are set for this competition;
A. There exists an absolute ceiling of 20,000 feet for any/all engagements. Breaking the competition ceiling will result in forfeiture.
B. There exists a hard deck of 2,000 feet. A match may not begin below the hard deck. After the merge, the hard deck may be broken. Breaking the hard deck before the merge will result in forfeiture. The 2,000 foot hard deck exists for your safety.
C. The exhaustion of ammunition or fuel will not affect the outcome of the competition. Each aviator is expected to prepare accordingly.
D. Landing the aircraft will result in forfeiture.
E. Destruction of the aircraft in a crash/collision will not result in a qualified victory. The aviator must be shot down.
F. Augering will result in forfeiture.
G. There can be no absolute governance of altitude, airspeed, first pass fire or any other aspect of the engagement, save which is set by the deuling pair.
8. At the conclusion of the match, the screenshot's must be sent to either the Kommandeur, Geschwaderkommodore or Adjutant. These persons are listed on the Roster. Visit that area if you are unfamiliar with these individuals.
9. Judging must be concluded within a 24 hour period. Aviators will be duly notified.
Competition winners will be decorated, presented with a letter of commendation and a note will be inserted into their Service Jacket on their respective BIO pages. A special consideration will be given for monthly champions.
