16Days - 15 Nights Baliem Valley & Yaly Tribe Adventure

DAY 02 :    JAYAPURA – WAMENA   (B,L,D) Transfer  to the Airport for departure to Wamena by  Merpati Flight in 50minutes. Arrive at Wamena  Airport, transfer to your Hotel, lunch will  be served at local  restaurant,  afternoon  sightseeing,  Dinner  and  overnight stay at Hotel.

DAY  03 :   WAMENA  -  SOGOKMO  –  SEIMA – UGEM   (B,L,D) wake up  in the  morning at 06.0’Clock and breakfast at  07.0’clock ,  from  your   hotel   you drive by car passing  by  Tigi village  you  will arrive at sogokmo village,  and   then  walking to the bridge, crossing to Seima Village. During   the trek you could  seeing the scenery  of a lot  of Village. On the way from Seima continue  your trip to Ugem for dinner and overnight stay .

DAY  04 :   UGEM – USEREM – (B,L,D) After breakfast  you go down at to .Mugi river, going up to hills through the Baliem george on the way you will see the Dani     people they working  in their field. You   arrive   at   Userem  Village   for  dinner   and overnight stay.

DAY  05:   USEREM –  PUKAM    (B,L,D)    wake up  early  at  06.00  Am ,  after  your  breakfast, continue  your  trip  to  go  up  the  hill  and down to small  river  stop for lunch. After lunch climb up the mountain  walking to  the  jungle you will find some kind of the bird’s and the rain forest down to Pukam for dinner and overnight stay.

DAY  06 :   PUKAM–WERIMA-LILIBAL (B,L,D) Wake up early  06.00  Am  prepare  your  breakfast at  07.00 Am, going  down  by  passing Werima village through a  small  river, having  a lunch . On the  way to Lilibal village , here you find the  Hupla  tribe  are mix tribe language of  Dani  and Hupla. Dinner and overnight stay at local hut or local house.

DAY  07 :   LILIBAL – SOBA – OAKBISIK   (B,L,D) Wake  up in the morning, for  breakfast continue your trip to go up the hill and go down through the gorge passing small villages  on the way to Soba village here you will find the Mission station and they have airstrip, see the water fall and stop for lunch in day time. After  lunch go up to Oakbisik village for dinner and overnight stay

DAY  08 :   OWAKBISIK – HUPLA – & YALI – SILAKMA  (B,L,D) Your cook will provide your breakfast, after breakfast , walking down to see the Hupla plantation and how typical Hupla and Yaly tribe’s  agriculture which they grow sweet potato and Sugar cane. You have crossing Kwik river and going up to Silakma village for stay with local people to spend your  time. dinner are served .

DAY  09 :   SILAKMA -  NINIA (B,L,D) Wake  up early in the morning your cook will provide your breakfast after breakfast, continue your trip to walk up rain forest on the way you will see the Pandanu’s tree and fung’s three and down to Ninia village where the Yaly tribe living in traditional  house. This village more modern house  used by the Missionary and you will get accommodation for overnight stay at the teacher house with local people dinner will be provided.

DAY  10 :   NINIA – YABI – JUNGLE (B,L,D) Wake  up early in the morning you have breakfast, continue your trip walking to the next village called Yabi where most of Yaly people they go to the jungle for hunting cus- cus, and birds. Along the way going up the river to the Jungle for stay at your camp. dinner and overnight

DAY  11 :   JUNGLE   (B,L,D) In the morning after have a breakfast go up the hill with it’s high 3000 meter’s and to catch down to Yaguli,s river for stop and have lunch.After lunch going up the hill for stay in the Jungle in your camp. 

DAY  12 :   JUNGLE  –  WANIOK   (B,L,D) In the morning you having breakfast in your camp,   walking on the log it is rain forest, you will arrive  at Yali  tribe and you see the real dress of Yaly made by rattan. and you will find more of Yali’s  group wearing a  traditional  dress. Dinner  and  stay overnight at local house

DAY  13 :   WANIOK – MOHOMO - ANGGURUK   (B,L,D) Wake up early in the morning  to have a breakfast,  from Waniok village crossing traditional bridge walking up to Mohomo village, you will find some of the Yali’s people live in traditional village continue walking down to Angguruk and stay at the Missionary guest house. Dinner and overnight stay.

DAY  14 :    ANGGURUK – WAMENA    (B,L,D) After breakfast, return to  Wamena  by Special  Charter Flight. Arrive  at Wamena    transfer to Baliem Pilamo Hotel, lunch served at Local restaurant, dinner at Hotel.

DAY 15 :   WAMENA  -   JAYAPURA  (B,L,D) After breakfast, transfer to the Airport for your flight return to Jayapura, Sightseeing, excurtion, Lunch served at Local Restaurant  near the Lake, Dinner and Overnight stay at Sentani Indah Hotel.

DAY 16 : JAYAPURA DEPARTURE  (B) Breakfast at Hotel,  transfer  to the airport for your flight to the next destination.
