Oriental Accents Living Room/Dining Room (3 views) I once saw a room box with one room elevated at a Chicago show and was intrigued by it. This design is completely different from that box, aside from the one room being elevated and my rooms are much larger. The wallpaper is Xacto's Oriental - no longer available. I also used the blue version of it in my New England Town House dining room and entrance hall. The white sofa and burgundy chairs are by Susan Hoeltge, the dining room chairs are Xacto kits, the table I made and other pieces are commerical. Dishes & birds on table by Paula of Sebastian Studio. Chandelier by Lighting Bug.

Victorian Birthday Party (3 views) The four little girls were made by Liz Staryk, the sandwiches were made by Syd Wagner of Syd's Shoppe. The border plants were made by Sherry Waldschmidt and the gift packages by Marge Smith. The "hellium" balloons were made to look like they were anchored to the chairs with matching colored silk ribbons.
Kitchen in a Bread Box (2 views) The appliances make this a Circa 1940's kitchen and were designed by Jackie Deiber. The granny is by Delores Coles. I made the cherry pie and potato salad. Other food by various other artisans. You can't see the entire box, but it is a wooden one with a drop down door bought very reasonably at a rummage sale.
Wicker Garden Room (3 Views) All of the wonderful wicker furniture was made by Jackie Ryan. Some plants were made by me and some were purchased.
A Porch for All Seasons (2 views) My friend made the Victorian porch for me so I could have a partial "Painted Lady". I made the witch for the Halloween decorations. The other one is decorated for Christmas.
Christmas Break-away Box (3 views) The lawyer's book case, desk and chair are by Reminiscence. I made and trimmed the tree and made the apple wreath. The mini candy houses and Fimo train are by Judy Kafka. The jointed, porcelain teddy bear on the love seat is a gift from Hazel Hoyt and was made by her. The cocoa and sweets on the coffee table are by Sydney Wagner. I marbelized the coffee table top in a club project. The chocolate Fimo train atop the bookcase was made by Sherry Waldschmidt and was a Christmas gift to me. The train and house on the floor were made by Judy Kafka. There are several miniature Anna Lee items around the room that are adorable and given to me as gifts because I collect the life sized ones. I don't know who hand-made Santa and Mrs. Claus.
Milady's Boutique (2 views) I bought a acrylic box at a Chicago show with no specific idea in mind and it just seemed to fall into place with many boutique items I had no "home" for. I made the three covered tables and the two Victorian ball gowns from an L.H. Studio kit (Louise Hedrick). I made the mauve bonnet, the fancy case containing dressing table items, the gold bag and various baskets and boxes. The white slippers are by The Doll's Cobbler.
Victorian Sewing Room (4 views) Another vignette that seemd to fall into place by itself when I bought a case in Chicago. I had enough co-ordinating items to make a setting. The Bespaq armoir I filled with laces and trims from a kit by Louise Hedrick (L.H. Studio). The doll was a Marcia Backstrom kit, which some friends & I met to assemble and paint. Sherry Waldschmidt wigged her for me and Mary Haworth dressed her. I don't really care to sew anything smaller than Barbie dolls!!! I made the sewing basket (foreground) at a club workshop as well as the red and black ball gown on a mannequin in the corner, the nightgown off to the right. The elegant white ball gown was by Jackie Ryan. The wicker chair/rack was made by Madeline Whyte as well as the child's dress hanging on it. The girl's frilly dress on the right was made by Marion Nuernberg and was a gift. The white chair was hand made for me by a friend as a gift. The sewing machine is from Germany.
