The first picture is my Gloria Vanderbilt "design" house, the size and floor plan having been modified and enlarged by me & completed in 1980 in less
than a year. The first floor consists of an entry hall, dining room and kitchen. The second floor has a library and living room.
The third floor has a hallway, bath and master bedroom.
The fourth floor has a hallway/sitting room, child's bedroom and hallway behind it and a guest room.
This view shows part of the entrance hall, dining room and kitchen.
Chairs are by Reminiscence, chandelier by Lighting Bug. I needlepointed the hall rug using more than one design.
A light blue cloisonne pendant is reincarnated as a floor vase.
I made the cabinets, range and refrigerator and table (circa 1980's)
from scratch. Chairs are Chrysnbon kits. All other accessories were purchases from various sources.
Most items were purchased except the sofa, which I made from scratch.
Desk chair was an Xacto kit. The fabric in sofa and chair seat matches the draperies shown earlier in the full view of the open house,
The furniture is a mix of commercial pieces and kits. The piano and sofa were made by me from a Scientific Realife kit. The white chair is by d. Anne Ruff. My only Eugene Kupjack piece is a silver dish on the coffee table.
I cross-stitched the pillows
The dressing table area was made by me from scratch, the chair is a Chrysnbon kit. The bright red fixtures were made by Paula of Sebastian Studio I. There is a large free-standing cabinet filled with linens opposite of the dressing table.
I dressed the bed, the chair is by d. Anne Ruff, the high boy is by Joe Andrews. The bed tray I made in a class and the butterfly table next to the chair was made by Robert Chucka. The night gown and negligee hanging on the doors were made by Nancy Neuman.
The wing chair and love seat were made by Susan Hoeltge. The other pieces are commercial purchases.
I made the bed and wicker-look stand, and ceiling lamp. The Peacock chair was made by Bev Bogenschild. The trunk was a club project and the Mary Jane shoes & box by The Doll's Cobbler.

The guest room is accessed through the rear hallway. The wall with the window seat at the rear can be removed to change seasonal photos.
