A FRIEND
A friend is one
To whom one may pour out
All the contents of ones
Heart, chaff and
Grain together,
Knowing that the
Gentlest of hands
Will take and sift
If, keep what is
Worth keeping,
And with a breath
Of kindness, blow
The rest away.

A GIRL AND HER DOG
The girl walked over the hill, the hill,
And over the hill her dog walked too,
And I see them walking still.

The air was crisp, and the sky was blue,
As many a mile they walked, those two,
And I see them walking still.

But late in the day, the mist came down,
And wrapped them both in a grey mist gown,
But I see them walking still...

May the longtime
Sun shine upon you,
All love surround you,
And the sweet light within you,
Guide your way on.

Shake and shake
The catsup bottle.
Non will come,
And then a lotll.

Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint on snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the autumn rain.
When you awake in the morning hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of birds circling in flight.
I am the stars that shine at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there, I do not sleep.

DREAMS
Hold fast to dreams,
For if dreams die,
Life is a broken-winged bird
That cannot fly.

Hold fast to dreams
For when dreams go,
Life is a barren field
Frozen with snow.

There was a young fellow named Fisher,
Who was fishing for fish in a fissure.
When a cod with a grin,
Pulled the fisherman in.
Now theyre fishing the fissure for Fisher.
