Lovely Goldfish

GOLDIE - The thoughtful

The golden colour made her look very beautiful. She was usually quiet (not that fish talk..anyway!) but she looked intelligent.

She was the first goldfish we lost & we miss her a lot. We had the joy of seeing her till September 10, 2001. It was rather unexpected & we still don't know what happened to her.

This picture is not of Goldie because I never got around to taking a close-up of her. Although I think this is quite similar.

ANGEL - The mischevious

She was the entertainer. Always up to something. She had a lot of energy. A happy-go-lucky fishy.

We miss her a lot. She was our friend. We fondly watched her acrobatic stunts will February 6, 2002.

We didn't know then that she had air bladder disease or swim bladder disease. And because of this she had been floating upside down for several months. From what I have read now, it seems that you should initially stop feeding the fish for a 3 days or so & then make sure that the flakes you feed them are pre-soaked. Otherwise, they tend to eat too much & this food then expands in their tummies & causes them to loose balance. Also, feeding them peas seems to be another recommendation. I'm so sorry that I was ignorant of this fact earlier.

Again, this is not Angel, but probably her long-lost relative!

CAPPY - The cutie

She is so cute & loving. You can't stop admiring her beauty. She has gorgeous fins. She is my personal favourite!

This is not her, but kind-of like her!

SPOTS - The slender

She is very agile. Although she has some problem with her right eye but she's the fastest of them all.

JADE - The baby

She used to be very timid when she first arrived, perhaps because she was the smallest one. But now she's growing & has even changed her colour from green to shades of gold & silver.
