Nara is an outlaw who had used her telepathic abilities illegaly and had the Saturn symbol tattooed on her face because she refused to wear it to signify her as a Titanian. She was hired by the warden of Takron Galtos, at the request of President Chu, to enter the mind of Brainiac 5 and learn why he had created his time-platform. Knowing that she would be arrested if she failed, she used an illegal telepathic enhancer to delve deeper into Brainiac 5's mind and found the information she was sent after but was mentally confronted by Brainiac 5 inside his own mind and had to give up the information before he would let her out. She was dragged off by Takron Galtos guards but was able to implicate the Warden in illegal activities and have him imprisoned as well.

Morlo was a chemist who admired his fellow Vyrgan, Gates, so much that he conducted experiments upon himself hoping to gain tele-portational powers. The experiments instead caused his body to mutate into a large grotesque creature and warped his mind to the point where he regarded all Vyrgans, including Gates, with contempt and decided he should become the leader of the planet. He created a number of primitive, but sentient, shape-changing creatures and had them infiltrate the Legion headquarters in an attempt to destroy it, which failed. The Vyrgan government called on Gates to assist them with the increasing attacks by Morlo, but Gates was secretly stranded in the 20th century so the Legion arrived instead and was able to defeat him.
