COMPUTO is an artificial intelligence created by Brainiac 5 during his time stranded in the 20th century. Several individual components were intergrated into COMPUTO's design including a Metal Man Responsometer, a New God Mother-Box and a Legion Omnicom. Upon its creation, COMPUTO was helpful to the Legion and created a time portal back to their own time, but the threat of being disconnected caused it to revolt and led to a confrontation between itself, the Legion and many of the 20th century's heroes. The combined 30th and 20th century Legion teams defeated COMPUTO before returning to their own century.

Embittered over their rejection for membership during the Legion's first open call, four young would-be-heroes staged a cave-in on a mining asteroid called Yuen in order to lure the Legion there so they could prove their worth. When the newest Legionnaires were sent to investigate, the plan changed to kill the rookie Legionnaires and attempt to replace them. As Magno and Sensor were disabled, Umbra defeated all four of their assailants by herself.
Cherry Bomb can emit intense light and explosive sound. Density can alter the substance of her body into any element. Phantom Lad can become intangible. Ze Tongue can alter his tongue into numerous shapes.
