With Cosmic Boy in the 20th century, Dyrk's spirit and magnetic abilities gained him a place in the Legion during its first open call for new members. Not long after his joining, during the Legion's battle with the dark sorceror Mordru, Dyrk was caught in a mystical blast and later found that his powers no longer functioned. After a brief visit to Braal, he returned to the Legion to act as resident administrator of the Legion Outpost.
Dyrk had the native Braalian magnetic ability to manipulate various forms of metal.
During the year that half of the Legion was "Lost" in uncharted space, Dyrk joined the Science Police and was stationed on Braal, where he came into conflict with the Legion SUB-terfuge team. |
