Rokk was a champion magno-ball player travelling to Earth when he, along with Imra Ardeen and Garth Ranzz, prevented an assassination attempt made on the life of interplanetary entrepreneur RJ Brande. Brande was so impressed with the teen-agers' courage and team-work that he convinced them to form the Legion of Super-Heroes. Rokk's maturity, confidence and charisma made him a natural leader and he is considered by many to be the heart of the Legion.
Rokk has the native Braalian ability to manipulate metallic substances, but his control over his magnetic abilities is greater than that of most Braalians.
During the year that half of the Legion was "Lost" in uncharted space, Rokk worked with Brande and the Legion SUB-terfuge Squad to prepare for the reformation of the Legion. |
