Little is known of the Persuader's origins, but he was imprisoned on Takron-Galtos when UP President Chu commissioned the Legion to gather the members of the Fatal 5. The Persuader appears to be a normal human with slightly increased strength and stamina but his true talents lie in his powerful Atomic Axe which can cut through anything, including energy such as lightning and force fields. Supposedly the axe can even slice atoms. He also seems to have a symbiotic relationship with the axe and can hurl it through the air at a target and it will return to him afterwards. It is rumored that the axe has its origins based in the 21st century.

Virtually nothing is known regarding the origins of Validus. When President Chu commissioned the Legion to gather together the members of the Fatal 5, Saturn Girl and Spark located Validus on the world of Pasnic and were barely able to apprehend him and transfer him to Takron-Galtos to rendesvous with the other Legionnaires and Fatal 5 members. Validus is 25 feet tall and operates on pure destructive instinct with no discernable language or reasoning capabilities. Besides incredible strength and invulnerability, he is also able to emit mental lightning.
