Sussa joined McCauley's Work-Force for monetary reasons. Having developed a physical relation-ship with Ultra Boy, she was fairly disappointed with his immediate fascination with the Legion-naire Apparition and his subsequent resignation from the Work-Force but remained with the team despite McCauley's often scalding treatment of her and her team-mates and even engaged in a short affair with Radion prior to his deformation by Mordru. Sussa became possessed by the Blight during their assimilation of Earth and was fired from the Work-Force when McCauley decided to replace all of his teen-aged operatives with adults. Sussa has the ability to manipulate her incredibly long and unusually strong hair to perform a variety of functions.

Evolvo was recruited into McCauley's Work-Force from the planet Lallor and became Leland's personal body-guard after the resignation of Ultra Boy. With the discovery of a spatial anomaly, he created a machine which tapped into the anomaly's power and used it as a teleportation device for the Affiliated Planets, which eventually fractured the anomaly and froze time and space. Evolvo became possessed by the Blight during their assimilation of Earth and was fired from the Work-Force when McCauley decided to replace all of his teen-aged operatives with adults.
Evolvo has the ability to evolve himself into a future being with 10th level intelligence and telekinetic abilities or to devolve himself into a primative and powerful yet uncontrollable ape creature.
