Name: Winema Wazzo
Group Affiliation: VP of the United Planets

Winema Wazzo is the mother of Apparition and was a UP council member who was very vocal in her disapproval of the Legion having such young members, especially after her daughter was seemingly killed during the White Triangle battle. She was framed of brainwashing Element Lad into attacking his team-mates but the Legionnaires were able to clear her name when they exposed President Chu as the conspirator. When RJ Brande replaced Chu as President of the UP, Winema "accidently" fell into the position of Vice President and has retained that position even after the replacement of Brande by McCauley. She had sent bounty hunter to retrieve her daughter and unborn grandchild when Apparition fled to Rimbor after the Legion was disbanded.

After the 20th century villain Chronos murdered her father he then used Lori to help him travel into the time stream, which aged her to her early 20s and stranded her in the 30th century. Having no-one in the 20th century to return to, Lori was allowed to stay with the Legion but was returned to her pre-teen age when Rond Vidar siphoned off the chronal energies which aged her. At some point , the Time Trapper came into contact with Lori and gave her a mystical dial which would allow her to become a random heroine for one hour at a time. When her hopes to join the Legion were dashed, she left them to join McCauley's Work Force and became the legal ward of Amilia Crugg. The power Dial was seemingly destroyed during the stargate rift incident.
