Mysa is the eldest child of the dark sorceror Mordru and is quite an accomplished sorceress herself. Decades past, Mysa and a group of magic users confronted her father and were able to defeat him but Mysa was transformed into an aged crone and all of her allies perished. Seeking to gain Mordru's most powerful talisman, the Emerald Eye, she manipulated Kinetix to become her subordinate and to bring the Eye to her. Unfortunately, Mordru was accidently released from his tomb and it took the combined might of Mysa, the Legion, and many other allies to defeat him once again. During the battle, Mysa was de-aged back to her youthful self and found that her mystical abilities had become unstable and she would have to work to restore them.

Name: Xao Jin
Group Affiliation: N/A

Xao was rejected during his try-out for Legion membership, mainly due to Live Wire's distrustful attitude towards magic. He left the try-outs very angrily and vowed to show the Legion that they had made a mistake in rejecting him. He was later contacted by Mysa and aided the Legion and their allies in the battle against Mordru but was injured and found that he had all but lost his mystical abilities. After training with Mysa for a time, Xao became impatient and desired the immediate return of his power which led him to the accidental release of the Elements of Disaster, despite numerous warnings. After helping the Legion and Mysa defeat the Elements, Xao finally realized his foolishness and turned himself in to the Science Police to atone for his costly mistakes.
