O’ my dearest loved ones
I see your grief for me
Please know that I am in a better place
With Jesus for eternity.
Tomorrow never came for me
But know I had so much love left to give to you
Never doubt that love was real
And always know that it was true.
Though my tomorrow became eternity
I hope that you know that I will still care
And know that in my last moments
Thoughts of you were in my final prayer.
I know Our dreams for tomorrow
Will never come to pass,
I can only hope you know throughout your life
That my love, for eternity, will last.
I am at Our Heaveanly Father’s side today
Of this you can be sure
Basking in his magnificent love
So benevolent and pure.
So, though I know you must grieve for me,
And I know you must shed your tears
I only hope you can go on from this day
And set aside your fears.
Your tomorrow is today
And you have so much more living left to do.
While I will sit by our Father’s side
And spend eternity watching over You.
