My Review

This is the book I used to create this website. Using the "HTML 4.01 Programmer's Reference," I was able to find the information I needed to create my first complete web site. All of HTML tags are listed and explained. The book even points out which tags are going away and which ones are specific to a type of browser. Other topics included frames, internationalization, scripting, and style sheets. In fact this book was my main source of information for learning how to create the style sheet for this site. The publisher describes "HTML 4.01 Programmer's Reference" this way.

This is a book for web programmers of any level, from beginners getting to grips with the basics of HTML coding, to more advanced programmers who need a comprehensive HTML reference guide that is completely up-to-date with the new 4.01 specification.

All in all, I am very satisfied with this book. It provided all the information I needed and then some.
