Send Your Enemies Flying
By {ICoP}Lich
This will detail the art of "flying" an opponent, as I like to call it. It can be used in combat, or just to show to people. It may seem quaint, or stupid, but if used well in combat, it may increase your kills greatly. It is best used around ledges, unless your opponent is REALLY close to death, or you just want to send him away.
For this, you need lvl. 3 Push and Grip. Using it against a Jedi is very ineffective (unless the Jedi does not have absorb.) Place your targeting retical (Crosshair) over your opponent. Initiate a grip. Now, thrust your mouse forward, in a quick motion. Dont make yourself look straight up, a small thrust is all that is needed. Release your opponent mid thrust, which should fling him in the air. Push him before he hits the ground, preferably quickly, so you get arc on the push. You must use F1 to push (or whatever push is bound to on your computer). If done right, this will make your opponent fly up higher and farther than you could have done by just flinging him with your grip. This is also more effective than walking your opponent over a ledge and dropping him, because you cant be pushed to drop him (if you are fast enough). If his/her back is not to a ledge, you can just flick your mouse up and to the direction of a ledge, and continue as normal.
Now, for the other type of flying. This is pretty much unusable in combat. Get someone to stand on your head. Place push as your active force power (the selected one). Back flip and hit F during the gap of time the person is in the air, sending him flying. If it's height you are going for, simply let someone on your head, look up, duck, and push quickly.
Hopefully, this tutorial will help increase your fighting prowess. If you want more detailed instruction, ask me in person, I'll do my best.
